Becoming a Protagonist is a journey that begins with the acquisition of an HP Latex or Stitch Printer series. If you disagree with the terms you may unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe button available on the footer of any of the emails we sent you or by sending an email to the following address youare@hp.com. You will be a part of this campaign unless you decline to participate. Remember that your participation is very much appreciated.


What is the HP Protagonist Program

HP Protagonist Program is a reward program HP has created to incentivize their HP Latex mid-volume* customers to give feedback. At HP, we strongly believe that is thanks to the feedback and comments of our customers that we can deliver relevant products and evolve the HP Latex/ Stitch Printer series to the next level.

For customers of HP Latex LV printers** there will be no reward program in place, although they can participate in the HP Protagonist feedback program if they wish to do so.

*HP Latex mid-volume includes HP Latex R series, HP Latex 3000 series, and HP Latex 1500.

**HP Latex low volume includes HP Latex 1xx, HP Latex 3xx, HP Latex 5xx.


How it works

From the moment you install your HP Latex/ Stitch Printer, every 12 weeks (approximately – read below for more details) you will receive a survey in your email from HP Protagonist (youare@hp.com or HP@express.medallia.com).  Each of these surveys will reward you with a specific amount of points, which you will be accumulating until the end of the program in December.

Note that the HP Protagonist Program goes from year to year starting in January and ending the last week of December. Once the program finishes in December, the program will be restarting in January of the consecutive year and all participants will be joining the program with 0 points again.

At the end of the year, the top 8 participants with more points collected will be invited to an exclusive event at the offices of HP Barcelona. When choosing the winners, at its sole discretion, HP reserves the right to consider other aspects than points, like the quality of the feedback received.

The winners of the program will be announced before May of the following year and the winners will get noticed at least 1 month before the date of the event.


Joining the Program in Progress

The Protagonist program in 2020 will be effective from mid-January 2020 until the 31st of December 2020.

Customers joining the program in progress will start the program when their printer is installed, and they will be following the timeline as it is shown below (see email interaction section) until December. At the end of the program, everyone will have the same chance to be rewarded as the total points got by the customers will be weighted according to the level of participation and months participating in the program.

  • Usage survey
  • Technical service survey
  • One-click survey (NPS)

Post Installation

Evaluates the satisfaction with the installation of your printer

1 week after the installation of your printer.

By clicking on one of the numbers to score or the survey link, a new window will open.

There, you will be able to confirm your score, to score other printers in case you own anymore, and to write a comment to complete your answer.

Usage

Evaluates the satisfaction with your HP printer in terms of usage

6 months, 1 year, and 2 years after the installation of your printer.

Technical Service

Evaluates the satisfaction with HP technical support.

0 points. It might be considered in the case of a draw.

Every time you receive technical assistance from HP.

One-click

2-question survey to evaluate your loyalty to HP printers and satisfaction with the printer.

1 min

100 points:

50 points to give a score + 50 points to add a comment.

Every 12 weeks, starting 2-3 weeks after the installation of your printer.



Scoring calculation details

As it has been exposed before, the total points earned by answering the surveys will be weighted according to the participation (total earned points/ total potential points) and months participating in the program. Out of this calculation, HP Protagonist will create a ranking to reward the TOP 10 performers in December.

In addition, HP Protagonist may award bonus points to users demonstrating a deep level of collaboration and to those who provide valuable and constructive feedback when contacted back from HP after the survey is answered.

Please note, in any case, personal data or printer usage data will be stored or shared with this third-party.


Termination

We may terminate or suspend the HP Protagonist campaign without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, a user’s breach of the terms and conditions outlined here.

All provisions of these Terms, which by their nature shall survive termination, including without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.


Changes

At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision of these Terms occurs, we will try to provide notice 30 days prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please notify the following address youare@hp.com with your request (HP protagonist unsubscribe).
