Wall Sticker Decals - Not Working

#1 hub2000 3 years ago

when using „Wall Sticker Decals“, the goal ist o let the customer design a wall sticker and to peel it off and glue it to the wall.

The concept is actually not really working:

The appended File shows a sample printfile.

Ok it can be printed, but the customer does expect a contour cutted image and not a square box with white space around the picture.

So please invent that the pdf data is generated with an additional contour cut. This contour cut is always a spot color with a name: eg „CutContour“.

On the other hand if i want to generate manually a countour line (not favorised, should be done automatically), it also does not work because the PDF is password protected.

So please can you change it, otherwise this product is not working.

Hi hub2000.

Right now to add Contours on your Decal projects with HP WallArt Suite it's only possible with some SAi releases that incorporate a feature to do this. However meanwhile I know that the HP WallArt Suite team is investigating this in order to provide an appropriate resolution for this.

On the other hand you are still able to generate PDF files with our old user interface, HP WallArt Solution, that will allow you to add contours on the generated PDFs by HP WallArt.

Hi hub2000

We have changed the workflow that concerns on Decal projects. This new workflow will allow you to create contours with HP WallArt Suite.

Hope this helps.

Hi hub2000

Unfortunately right now you can’t set up a contour with HP WallArt on your Decal Projects but what you can do now is to create Contour with any 3rd party program. I will send you feedback to the HP WallArt Suit team.
