SLow printing L25500

#1 derek5116 5 years ago

I have been given a job by a client. He wants to do line drawings on a l25500 60” HP designjet. using Onyx 10,1

I have downloaded the universal bond paper (CYMKcm).

This paper has three options: 6pb_600-2bpp_stochastic 8pb_600-2bpp_stochastic 10pb_600-2bpp_stochastic

I use the 6pb with 4 passes.

This is still very slow. How can I get this quicker (IE fast mode).

Can I go to 1 pass? Can you suggest another media profile?

#1 I am afraid, there are no more options to reduce the number of passes from 4. My only suggestion in here in order to save time when printing more than one job is what is explain in the user guide:

• Concatenating prints saves time, because one can be sent while another is being printed.

• Disable the cutter. With most substrates, this saves some time at the end of the printing process.

• Increase the cool-down curing temperatures. This also saves some time at the end of the printing process, but may cause slight substrate deformation, depending on the substrate.

I hope these suggestions help.
