Re: HP WallArt

#41 HP-MarcM 9 years ago

The customer can use images you provide on your content folder of your account but they cannot be edited on the HP Wall Art designer. You can also enable the Pattern Design content to your customers but these images cannot be edited either from the designer.

The customer should contact you if they want to change the pattern so that you change it and make it available for them.

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

But what i actually want is that the customer should be able to change the color as he can do in the pattern design stock. I do not want the customer to change the design or edit it but have the ability to recolor by choosing the Recolor option just like the option becomes available for Pattern Stock designs.

Regards

Siddhartha

Hi

We have been using WallArt for about 12 months now, however since an update approx a week ago, are now experiencing very slow processing times on jobs.

Any suggestions?

The processing time may vary depending on the project complexity (wall size, number and size of images, transparencies…) and the current server load. It’s difficult to provide exact numbers, but as an average, projects may take between 10 and 20 minutes to process, under normal circumstances. Once the PDF is ready for download, you will receive an email notification together with the download links.

Also, if the project requires the manual purchase/approval of Fotolia images or from other content providers, the PDF generation will not begin until the project has been manually approved.

Are you experiencing even longer processing times?

So far we've been waiting 3 hours for a job to process. We have messaged the support team but up until now have had no response.

The process times prior to the update were really good, however since, we have had one job error and the others have taken hours to process.

Has anyone else encountered similar issues?

Hi Phil-Kelly,

After you told me that you've been waiting for 3 hours, I've asked to the HP WallArt what could be your problem and they told me that for maintenance activities the processing capacity was momentary reduced and due to the heavy load the waiting times were longer than expected. If your job doesn't appear as completed you could find it in the error queue and you should be able to reprocess it.

We will like to apologize for the problems that the maintenance activities could cause to you.

No problem, the jobs processed through the night, and we have received a message from your support team citing a maintenance issue causing seriously prolonged process times, which has now been resolved.

Many thanks for your help.

Hi Sid,

The feature you are asking for is not available in HP WallArt. On the other hand, you could use Pattern Designs or modify your own designs offline and upload them to folders if you want to offer a design in several colors. In this way the customers could get an idea of your design in different colors.”

I notice that there are options for the customer to choose Canvas, or Wallpaper, etc, but there is no way to set different price per sqft for each material. I don't know anyone who is selling gallery wrapped canvas at the same price as wallpaper. Any plans to make the various materials customizable in terms of price?

Thanks

I’ve talked with the HP WallArt team and they are aware of this problem. They told me that they are working on creating a system that will allow the HP WallArt users to set up a price by application.

Hello,

I am integrating the HPWallArt Designer with my custom content website. Now While opening the designer, I am facing the issues of oauth handshaking. Check the screenshot. Can you please check what could be the issue here?

Hi Mehul,

How are you?

The attachment is not visible.

In any case the oAuth is one of the pieces most tricky in your side, and we know that.

oAuth is not really part of WallArt, but it is what we need you to have, so you are protected from letting external processess access your content. It is pretty standard these days.

We recommend you install a standard oAuth package, like the one we provide as sample, but it does not need to be that one. If you have trouble please send an email to our hpwallart.support@hp.com team. Which will be gladly helping you.

Best regards

Jose

I have to print a Canvas, and the print ready pdf from wallart shows a white line (right side of the image). I cant Print this, is this a problem with HP Wallart?????? I kind of need this ASAP for printing it and i cant figure it out whats the problem here... HELP!!

A couple of days ago we also did a wallpaper using a pattern from pattern design, and the seams on the patterns was showing.

Is Wallart having problems? We use wallart a lot and this kind of problems are BIG problems for us, wallart was one of the reasons we bought the Latex.

Hello Francisco

I think the original image you are uploading/selecting probably has a white right margin, then when WallArt is mirroning this portion of the image to cover the frame the white line gets duplicated and the effect is even thicker.

of course this is hard to say without actually looking at the image itself, so please send your image to hpwallart.support@hp.com and we will check that for you.

There is nothing wrong with WallArt, and we are very happy to help our customers like you!

Best regards

Jose

Thanks for your message Francisco,

I think there is something wrong, maybe on the size of the canvas itself, there must be some rounding issue with the proportions of your image.

See my attached image, there is no white line at all. This does not happen.

What is the canvas size?

and the image size?

Can you send us one of the ones you get the trouble?

Just fixed it, it seemed I placed the pictures too much to the left.

My mistake.

Was scared for a moment.

I promise I will be back with more problems soon

Hi

Are you aware of a current issue with processing jobs through Wallart.

We created 8 seperate jobs for processing last night to find all 8 errored this morning.

On trying to reprocess 1 of the jobs this morning, it has remained in a "processing" state for over 2 hours now.

We have contacted tech customer support but have not yet received a response.

Many thanks

Dear Phil,

Yes, there is a problem with the PDF generation engine right now, our team is working on it, and in short it will come available.

We are sorryt for the inconvenience that this delay may cause you.
