Too Much Black

HP Latex 200 Series

#1 MarvinA 7 years ago

Our L25500 has started overprinting black ink whenever we print a ripped file. Our yellow prints fine but then the black overprints on top of it. If we print a calibration from the control panel the yellows are great. It is only when we rip a file that it is overprinting the black.

Hi MarvinA,

Would you please attach a picture of your IQ issue? It will really help me to make an statement!

I'll be waiting for it.

I have attached a sample print showing our issue. The numbers are all pantone numbers and the square to the left is straight pantone yellow. Thanks for your help.

Hi MarvinA,

Since your issue seems to appear onyl when the file is ripped, and not with internal plots, I will suggest you to reinstall your RIP ans make sure you have the latest driver version together with your HP L25500 last firmware verion.

This should solve your issue. In case it doesen't i'll recommend you to contact your support source in order to check the printer.

Hope this helps.
