#1 fincka 2 years ago

Hi,

Everytime i load a media into HP 65500 latex printer, i have 1,5 linear meters of waste. Is it possible to print at the beginning of the media? by using a pieace of media between the media to print and the drum ? Or another way ?

thanks for your answers

best regards

Because every time i launch a print process i have lot of media waste. With my other printer (mimaki JV33) i can print at the beginning of the roll. I thinks there is a tips to do that on L65500 printer.

Hi fincka,

Sorry for the late reply. I've been asking around and I'm afraid to tell you that 1 - 1,5 meters of media need to be used in order to stick the media to the exit core (spindle). Once you make sure that the media is properly stuck you can try to feed back the media in order to save some of it, but you should make sure that at the end of the rewind the media stills stuck to the exit core.
