Banding in prints after head change

HP Latex 1500 Series

#1 brodieHMK 4 years ago

All fresh print heads except for black cyan (which is at 55%) ran print head clean, print head alignment, colour calibration when I installed the heads but got this banding in groups all around the print running a HP latex 1500 in dual roll config at 4p 6c 80% (See attached pics)

Is there something else I should be doing when I change a head

I would recommend checking the status of the HP 1500 Printer printheads, you can find information on this post: How to check the status of the HP 1500 Printer printheads. I also recommend this other post How to troubleshoot horizontal banding on the HP Latex 1500 Printer.

I would say that the Black/Cyan Head, could have some nozzles outs as per the images, however, the best way to be sure would be printing the PH Status Plot and then apply the troubleshooting indicated on the post related with the Quality Inspection Plot.
