I have managed to get a reply to your issue. The Composer application is for Indigo presses, not for LF printers. If you do not have any Indigo devices, you won’t be able to see it. We have checked and the Business Unit of Åkompani Reklam&Skyltproduktion AB is LATEX. Apparently, you don't have any indigo printer. I am sorry I do not have better news.

How can I get a full licens of SmartStream Designer to use in our Latex printer?

SmartStream does not support Latex Printers.

Hi Sonja, the Smartstream does support every other device but it is marketed as Indigo presses only (I suppose as a USP). Smartstream Designer outputs PDF, so it can be used for other devices as well. HP does not want it in the hands of other people other than Digital press owners. May this should change - SSD offers great produktion value - even for HP Latex owners - for personalised jobs and the imposition thereof. Regards, Christian

#7 Thanks Christian for your explanation of SSD. I have so many projects where I need SSD for print in HP Latex. Too bad it's only for Indigo operators.

@funny shooter 2 Even though the Smartstream is compatible with every other device, it is exclusively offered for use with Indigo presses (I presume as a unique selling proposition). Since Smartstream Designer generates PDF files, it is possible to utilize it with a variety of different devices. HP does not want the technology to get into the hands of anybody other than those who possess digital presses.
