ERROR failed to read media tables from printer

Has anyone had this issue and if so, how do I go about fixing it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to no avail. I've had the printer less than a year. I use the Flexi12 that came with the purchase. HP 115 print and cut solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should make sure you uninstall and reinstall the software as the administrator. Test on another PC and go over all settings in Flexi SAI and the Production Manager.

If the issue persists you should check with your reseller.

For my case the printer setting was changed. While re-adding the printer in Production Manager, I mistakenly set the default printer Model: HP Latex 360 Printer. After re-adding the printer and selecting the correct printer Model: HP Latex 115 Printer, the issue was resolved.

To re-add the printer: Open Production Manager Select Setup>Change Setup Enter the Cutter Info or skip it if it is already there

Enter the printer info

I just suffered the same issue. Searched high and low without much joy. HP's site was fruitless and SAI support page told me to "contact support". I guess expecting a tech or someone knowledgeable to be available was too high. My issue surfaced after performing the latest firmware upgrade. Went over every setting in Flexi and Production Manager, combed through every setting on the printer's control panel, went over every setting via the EWS, twice, uninstall/reinstall, gave up and went to bed. The following morning I was at I again, this time I simply reset the security via the printer's control panel and voila, back up and running.

Best of luck to anyone who suffers this issue as the information available online is rather scarce.
