Expanding frontiers in decoration

HP is celebrating its 5th year in Heimtextil ­– the largest international trade fair for home and contract decorative applications of design and innovative functionality – reinforcing its leadership in decorative printing market.

The celebration is in a high-class booth with an impressive lounge area customized for HP at Heimtextil, designed by Egue&Seta, recognized interior designers that uses HP Latex Printing Technologies in their day to day projects. This lounge area will be the open door to hosts designers, decoration manufacturers and Print Service Providers and show them the latest news that HP has for all of them.

Taking advantage of this celebration, HP introduces the renewed HP WallArt Suite, an easy and innovative web-to-print experience designed to address rising demands for e-commerce integration between PSPs and customers and is the first HP solution to integrate everything from the design process to quotes and customer orders in one place. 

“Our PSP customers have told us they want easy-to-use, affordable, intuitive software that makes printing and communication with their customers easier,” said Joan Perez Pericot, worldwide marketing director, HP Inc. “With the new HP WallArt Suite, PSPs and their customers can manage everything from design to order information in real-time online.”

Features of the HP WallArt suite includes:

  • Improved interface that is intuitive and easy-to-use tailored specifically for end customers;
  • Updated dashboard design to better manage customer orders;
  • Easy web integration;
  • Four free HP Wall decoration web apps (wallcovering, canvas, wall décals and posters);
  • Access to different content sources such as Fotolia, Pattern Design, Instagram and Dropbox.

Today’s announcement is the first of many that builds on HP’s strategic vision of being the first open platform in the large-format market that allows the integration of different digital content apps and new applications development.

This year HP will also have its first interaction with a new potential market that is willing to be differentiated with HP Latex digital technology: the window coverings. HP Latex enables virtually unlimited design options with highly efficient production.

Designers are also moving one step forward on their design process - from design to production, while helping reduce running costs thanks to HP Latex capabilities for proofing. HP showcases at Heimtextil home textiles designed by young talented Agustina printed in leather, cotton, and other amazing substrates.

Last but not least, this year the star is the HP Latex 3500, for industrial customers looking for high-volume printing enabling more unattended operation with heavy-duty roll-handling and 10-liter ink cartridges. The perfect fit for wallcovering and window covering manufacturers that are coming from analog and mature workflows.
